What an interesting time this has been. I must confess that all of this isolation has made me lose my mind a little bit. I like people and hugs and having to limit my interactions with others and no hugging has been tough. But I am taking things one day at a time and hugging my children probably more than they want.
Peak Vocal Academy is moving forward, too. I have to say that I have very much enjoyed giving lessons online with voicelessons.com. I’m still learning the software and haven’t unlocked all of its potential yet, but my students are improving and growing and that has been a source of much joy for me. It makes my music teacher heart happy to hear all the singing.
We are also moving forward in the performance arena. In the coming months, we will be presenting some virtual recitals using various streaming platforms. We are planning socially responsible, in-person concerts as well. Unfortunately, all group classes have been suspended until all facilities reopen. I miss having classes and they are an important part of PVA, but we will have to be patient and wait until we can find an appropriate environment to safely hold classes again.
We will be posting all announcements for concerts, as well as other updates and articles, on our website. So make sure to stay tuned so you can stay up-to-date on all the latest from Peak Vocal Academy.
Happy singing!
