My name is Fran Bushman, and I’ve been singing, performing, and teaching for over 20 years. My passion is to help students discover new abilities and learn to express themselves through music. I began voice studies at New World School of the Arts, College Conservatory in Miami, FL where I gained valuable performance experience. During my college career, I sang with the college choir at Florida International University, the community choir at Miami Dade College and even helped to premiere new works for local composers. After a few years, I moved to Orlando, FL where I completed my bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and sang with the Orlando Opera Chorus. I became home sick and decided to go back to my roots in South Florida where I had the honor to sing as a featured soloist for The Lyric Orchestra, a local opera company based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. For the past 10 years, I have dedicated myself to raising my young family, but have been lucky in being able to continue to study and teach singing in church as well as actively participating in church choirs-both as a singer and conductor. I am a supportive and enthusiastic teacher and love to help my students find strength and confidence in their voices. I am excited to share my passion for music and singing with the people of Triangle.
